Hinata bid goodbye to the nurses that took care of her before she took a breath and stepped outside. It felt a bit strange to be outside after what happened. She swallowed as she touched her side. It was hard to believe that she almost died, that if Pain had actually succeeded she wouldn't be standing outside the entrance of the hospital. Hinata almost died however, she didn't regret it. She would do it over again, if it meant that she could protect Naruto again. While she walked away from the hospital her confession came back to mind.

Hinata slowed down and took a seat in a nearby bench as she replayed her confession over and over again. It seemed like a good idea at the time because she didn't know what would happen and she didn't want to leave anything she would regret later. Now that everything calmed down she couldn't believe that she told him how she felt. It wasn't the ideal place for her confession either, staring down death while the world crumble around them. She wanted things to be romantic, not during the middle of the battle. Then there was Naruto and his answer that she was afraid to know. It would hurt very much if Naruto didn't feel the same. While Hinata would respect his wishes and hope they could still be friends, a part of her hoped that wouldn't happen.

Hinata sighed as she placed her red face in her hands. "...I can't believe I did that..." She whispered as she shook her head. Hinata didn't notice that the one person she thought about avoiding was coming her way.

I'm so sorry for any late tags! I'm currently in the middle of college kicking my butt so expect some late tags in the future. They will be coming, but will be very slow!
